Pretzel Crust
  • 2 1/2 cups finely crushed salted pretzels 100 g
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter melted (170 g)
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar 38 g
Cream Cheese Filling
  • 8 oz full-fat block cream cheese softened (226 g)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar 200 g
  • 8 oz frozen whipped topping thawed (226 g)
Strawberry Topping
  • 6 oz strawberry-flavored gelatin 170 g
  • 2 cups boiling water 480 ml
  • 20 oz frozen sliced strawberries 567 g

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Heat the oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9 × 13-inch baking dish.
  2. Mix the crushed pretzels, melted butter, and 3 tbsp sugar. Press firmly into the pan.
  3. Bake for 10 minutes, then cool completely for about 30 minutes.
  4. Beat the cream cheese and 1 cup sugar until smooth. Fold in the whipped topping.
  5. Spread the filling over the crust, sealing it tightly against every edge. Chill for 30 minutes.
  6. Stir the gelatin into the boiling water for 2 minutes. Add the frozen strawberries and stir until cool and slightly thick.
  7. Spoon the strawberry mixture over the filling and spread evenly.
  8. Chill for at least 3 1/2 hours, or overnight, before slicing.
