  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 2 lb / 900 g)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder optional
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley optional

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Pat the chicken dry, pound to an even thickness, and season with olive oil and spices.
  2. Preheat the grill to 400–425°F (205–220°C) and lightly oil the grates.
  3. Grill the chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until nearly cooked through.
  4. Mix the BBQ sauce with apple cider vinegar and brush it onto both sides during the last 3–4 minutes of grilling.
  5. Cook until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. Rest the chicken for 5–10 minutes, garnish with parsley if desired, and serve warm.
