Ingredients

  • 8 ounces 226 grams full-fat block cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup approximately 53 grams lightly packed light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • cup 80 milliliters homemade salted caramel sauce or good-quality store-bought caramel sauce
  • ¼ cup approximately 40 grams English toffee bits
  • 4 medium Granny Smith apples sliced
  • Graham crackers optional, for serving

Method

  1. Place the softened cream cheese in a medium mixing bowl. Measure the remaining ingredients, slice the apples, and set out an 8-inch pie plate.
  2. Mix the cream cheese, brown sugar, and vanilla with an electric mixer or sturdy spoon until completely smooth and evenly combined.
  3. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly in the pie plate. Spoon the caramel sauce over the base and spread it into a separate, even layer.
  4. Sprinkle with English toffee bits immediately before serving. Serve with the sliced Granny Smith apples and optional graham crackers.
