Apple-Brie Crostini With Honey and Walnuts

Ingredients
  

  • 1 baguette sliced diagonally ¼–½ inch thick
  • Olive oil for brushing
  • Salt and pepper for seasoning
  • 16 oz Brie cheese thinly sliced
  • 2 apples thinly sliced
  • cups walnut pieces and halves
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 small bunch lemon thyme

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Slice the baguette diagonally into ¼–½-inch pieces. Brush both sides lightly with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Arrange the baguette slices on a sheet pan. Bake for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crisp.
  3. Cool the crostini to room temperature.
  4. Top each crostini with one thin Brie slice, two thin apple slices, two or three walnut pieces, a light honey drizzle, and a small sprig of lemon thyme.
  5. Serve within one hour.
